Bob Dylan’s Bootleg Series Vol. 8, the three-CD “Tell Tale Signs” collection, focuses on Dylan’s sessions from 1989-2006. “Tell Tale Signs” delves deeper into material recorded during the sessions for “Oh Mercy,” “Time Out of Mind,” “Love and Theft” and “Modern Times.”
The rare and previously unreleased tracks on “Tell Tale Signs” reveal even more varied and complex readings of now-familiar tunes from those albums.
While working on the project, we discovered the incredible archive of 7- and 12-inch single sleeves and promotional releases compiled by record collector extraordinaire David Eckstrom.
The most visually remarkable single sleeves from Eckstrom’s collection have been thoughtfully curated and reproduced in the hardbound book “Bob Dylan Collected Single Sleeves,” available exclusively with the “Tell Tale Signs” deluxe boxed set.
