Release date:
Sept. 1, 2013
The Bob Dylan Complete Album Collection Vol. 1 boxed set features 35 studio titles — among them 1973’s “Dylan” for the first time on CD in North America — plus six live albums and “Side Tracks,” a two-CD collection of previously released non-album singles, tracks from his “Biograph” boxed set, songs from movies and more.
A hardcover book with an introduction by Bill Flanagan and album-by-album notes penned by Clinton Heylin accompanies the deluxe package, which was designed by Rare Cool Stuff’s Grammy-nominated Geoff Gans and released by Dylan’s longtime label, Columbia Records, in fall 2013.
An all-digital limited-edition version of the Bob Dylan Complete Album Collection Vol. 1 is also available, in a deluxe numbered box. Inside is a harmonica-shaped USB flash drive containing all the music (in MP3 as well as FLAC lossless formats), plus a digital edition of the book.
